Invoices and receipts

Where to find them, what they show, and downloading a PDF.

Last updated 2026-09-05

Every payment produces an invoice: creating a phone, extending it, a renewal, and a wallet top-up. They are all in the app, under Account.

What an invoice shows

  • The amount charged and the currency, and whether it has since been refunded.
  • Which phone it was for, by name, and the package and term bought.
  • A coupon code and the amount it took off, if one was used; the list price is the two added together.
  • How much came from your wallet and how much went on a card, when a payment was split.

Each invoice can be downloaded as a PDF from the app.

Receipts by email

A receipt is emailed for each payment, and a notice for each refund. These follow the billing switch under your notification settings, so you can turn the emails off and still find every invoice in the app. Notices about a failed payment, or a payment that needs confirming, are always sent, because they protect your account's standing.

Purchases through Google Play

A Play top-up also appears in Google's own order history, which is where a refund request for it goes. The wallet ledger in the app shows the credit landing, and the invoices for the phones it then paid for.

How long we keep them

Invoices, the wallet ledger and payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require, even after you delete your account.
