Sharing lets someone else open and use your phone without giving it up. You stay the owner, and you can end it at any moment.

Open the phone's Sharing row
On the phone's screen in the app, Sharing reads "Only you" until someone is invited. Tap it.

Enter their email address
They do not need an account yet. If they have one, the invitation appears in their app; if not, it waits for them as soon as they sign up with that address and verify it. An email goes out either way with a link that opens the app.

Set an end date, or none
A share can run for a set number of days or until you end it, and you can change the date later.

They accept
The phone appears on their Devices tab marked as shared from you. They can open and stream it, start, stop and restart it, move files and install apps. They cannot delete, reset or root it, or see its subscription, proxy or sharing.

End it when you are done
Revoke it from the Sharing row; their access ends at once, including any viewer they have open. A share with an end date ends on its own, and both of you are told a day before.
What they do happens on your account. A guest uses the phone under the acceptable use policy as you would, so share with people you trust. To hand a phone over for good instead, see Transferring a phone to another account.
