Under each phone's name on the Devices tab is a word describing what it is doing. Here is what each one means and what you can do with the phone while it says so.

| Provisioning | Being created, with a progress figure. Usually a few minutes. | Wait. It cannot be opened or deleted yet. |
| Online | Running. | Everything: stream, files, screenshots, clipboard, APKs, restart, power off, reset. |
| Offline | Powered off. Everything on it is kept. | Start it, reset it, change root or the proxy. Streaming and files need it online. |
| Starting, Stopping, Restarting | Between two states. | Wait a moment; it updates on its own. |
| Suspended | Stopped because a renewal payment kept failing. | Fix the payment; the next retry brings it back. A payment failed. |
| Expired | Its term ended without renewing. Storage is kept for a while, and the tile says until when. | Renew, within the window, to get it back as it was. Auto-renew, expiry and what happens to your data. |
Messages that go with them
- "The device must be online to stream." Start it first.
- "The device must be online or offline to reset." It is between states or still being set up; wait for it to settle.
- "Operation in progress." The previous tap is still being carried out. Nothing to do.
Renaming a phone
From its settings, any name from 1 to 60 characters. The name is only for you and the people you share the phone with.
