Version 1.12 is out. Here is what is new.
Your phones in a browser
Skyro Cloud now runs in a browser tab at www.skyrocloud.app, with nothing to install. Sign in with the account you already have and everything is where you left it: your phones, your groups, your wallet and your settings. Passkeys work there too; in Firefox, which cannot use them on that address yet, sign in with your password.
Your account number
Every account now has a 12-digit account number, shown in the app under Account. The numbers are random, so nobody can work out another account's number from their own. If you noted down an older, shorter number, it no longer works: use the new one.
You can now share a phone, or hand it over for good, with the other person's account number instead of their email. They still get the invitation by email, and you see their number and a masked address, never their full email.
Top up from the website
The new top-up page adds money to a wallet without signing in: yours, or someone else's, with just the account number or the email the account uses. You pay by card on Stripe's secure page, which shows the account number and part of its email before you pay, so you can check it is the right account. The money reaches the wallet within a minute, and the account holder gets the receipt. Between $1 and $500 at a time.
Card payments open shortly. Until then the page will tell you it cannot take a payment yet, and we will update this post the moment it can.
Windows keeps itself up to date
The Windows app now checks for new versions on its own and can update from Settings, automatically or when you choose. If you are on an older Windows version, download 1.12 once from our website; from then on it updates itself.
