A cloud phone is real Android on real hardware, and most things work exactly as on a phone in your hand. Some do not, and we would rather you found out here than after paying.
Some apps will refuse it
It is not a certified retail handset. It reports itself as an emulator-class device and is not Play Protect certified, so banking, payment, some streaming and anti-fraud apps may warn, behave differently or decline. We cannot talk them round.
No SIM, no camera, no GPS
There is no phone number, so no calls or SMS; no real camera; no true location beyond what an internet address implies; and no fingerprint sensor. It is a computer shaped like a phone.
Not a backup service
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot lose. If a phone lapses and its retention window passes, what was on it is gone for good, and we cannot bring it back.
Your connection matters
Streaming quality depends on your own line and how far you are from the region you picked. We cannot fix either from here.
Limits that come with the package
Each phone has the cores, memory and storage of its package, a network rate limit, and a storage allowance. They are part of what you bought; getting around them is a breach of the acceptable use policy rather than a clever trick.
What it is good at
Running whether or not you are watching, with no battery to flatten and no screen to time out. Being reachable from any device you sign in on. Being wiped clean and started again in a couple of taps. Being handed to someone else, or shared with them, without giving up your account. The features page has the full list.
